New Explore Passes

We added 2 more Explore Passes to our collection! The Horwitz-DeRemer Planetarium, located in Waukesha, is an excellent place to learn about space and see projections “beyond the city smoke and lights where the wonders of the heavens can best be seen.” Bookworm Gardens, located in Sheboygan, is “a non-profit botanic garden inspired by children's literature."  Click the links below to check their status on CountyCat.

Books to Check Out

Staff Recommendation

Phil recommends The Sideways Life of Denny Voss by Holly Kennedy. “While outside my usual reading, this chaotic, humorous small-town murder mystery completely won me over.  Denny Voss’s rigid perspectives and Midwestern charm make him impossible not to root for—and there’s even a goose named Tom Hanks! Fans of character-driven, thought-provoking reads like The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time will love this book.”
