Author Visit with Jasmine Warga
Wednesday, October 5, 6:30-8:00 PM
Middle grade and teen author and Newbery Award Honoree Jasmine Warga will be at the library for a discussion with Amanda Zieba about her work, including her new book A Rover’s Story. A book signing will follow the discussion. This event is cosponsored by Boswell Books Company and Milwaukee Muslim Women’s Coalition. Registration is required.
Teen Advisory Board for Ages 13-18
First Wednesday of the Month, 3:00-4:00 PM
The Greenfield Public Library is looking for student volunteers to serve on our Teen Advisory Board. Teens have the opportunity to suggest books and other materials for purchase, create displays, and plan teen events and programs hosted by the library. Snacks will be provided.

October 5: Create Decorations, Select Activities and Snacks for Harry Potter Yule Ball
November 2: Paint Bookends for Teen Area
December 7: Create Hanging Snowflakes for Children’s Area
Tween Graphic Novel Club for Ages 8-13
Third Tuesday of the Month, 3:30-4:30 PM
Bam! Pow! Zap! Do you enjoy reading comics and graphic novels? If so, then this is the club for you. Each month, we will explore a different genre and talk about what we have read.

Stranger Things Escape Room for Ages 13-18
Thursday, September 15, 5:30-7:30 PM
Do you enjoy escape rooms? Are you a fan of the television show Stranger Things? This program combines the two, and can be enjoyed by Stranger Things fans as well as those who haven’t watched an episode. Grab your friends and sign up for a time slot (maximum of four people per time slot) and escape from Mike Wheeler’s basement before the bad men from Hawkins National Laboratory find you. Each time slot is for 45 minutes: 5:30 PM, 6:30 PM, 7:30 PM. To register, email Daphne at email@example.com.

September 23: Anime Art Contest: Submit your best anime style art for a chance to win a $50 gift card to Lost World of Wonders. Art work will be displayed in the second floor Mezzanine Lounge throughout the month of October and the public can vote for their favorite entries. We will have two categories: art work of existing anime and original art work. All art work must be submitted by Friday, September 23rd.
October 28: Anime Bingo: Join us for a fun afternoon of anime- themed bingo. Prizes will include Japanese snacks and candy. We will also discuss our favorite anime and vote on what to watch at the Anime Mini-Film Fest on November 18th.
November 18: Anime Mini-Film Fest: Watch current anime on our big screen and enjoy Japanese snacks at our first Anime Mini- Film Fest. We’ll vote on what anime to watch at the October 28th meeting.

Life-Size Clue for Ages 13-18

Do you love the game Clue? Have you ever wondered what it would be like to set foot on the board? The community room will be transformed into an interactive, life-size board game.
