Volunteer

Greenfield Public Library currently offers Teen Volunteer hours once per month for ages 13-18.  This library-sponsored program is where teens gather to work on projects as a group. Sign-up is not required.  Every third Tuesday from 4 pm to 5 pm, Teen Librarian Alex sets up in the Community Room and happily signs off on volunteer hour logs at the end of each session for those you attend who need community service hours.

Dates for Winter/Spring 2025 are:

Tuesday, January 21

February - No Program

March, 18

April, 15

At this time, the library is unable to accommodate individual volunteers, including both school-age children and adults. We sincerely appreciate your willingness to give back to Greenfield through your library. Currently, the library is focused on re-establishing a formal volunteer program and obtaining insurance to protect volunteers while working. There is such a high level of interest in volunteering at the library that we expect to receive more applications than available opportunities. We thank you in advance for your patience and understanding as the library develops this program.
