Teen Space Refresh
The Greenfield Public Library is excited to refresh the teen area, and we want teens, ages 12-18, to help us. This project is important to us because we want teens to have a sense of ownership and pride over a space that is just for them. Teen spaces are important because they increase teen belonging in the library, they draw teens to library programs and services, and they increase lifelong library users.
There are two ways to get involved with this project: take our survey and participate in a focus group.
Survey:
Teens who take our online survey have a chance to win a free book.
Focus Group:
First session: Tuesday, June 27, 2:30-4:00 p.m.
Second session: Tuesday, July 18, 2:30-4:00 p.m.
Teens are invited to attend one of two focus group sessions (sessions are the same, so please attend only one). Each focus group will consist of a presentation and a conversation about how the space can be rearranged to support teens at the library. Teens who participate will receive a $25 Amazon gift card.
Registration is required. To register for a focus group, contact Daphne, the Teen Librarian, at daphnea@greenfieldwi.us or (414) 321-9595 ext. 4104.
